My Strong Tower

“The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” – Proverbs 18:10

In times of need we tend to seek help at various places like gaining material possession through shopping, sports, eating, watching TV and many times even alcohol and drugs. However, does this solve our problems? Since I’ve used many of this methods myself I’ve seen the cruel results they bring. The results are short happiness and long-term emptiness which many times leads into grave self-destruction.

Until I found out there was another way. A lot better way… A simple realization that there is Someone who cares and provides no matter my current situation. The One that is a Strong tower in every possible situation. And if I dare to call myself the righteous I can simply run and be safe. To the One who is a Strong Tower.
