The Rock And My Fortress

“The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies.” – Psalm 18:2

Good to know Who to lean on in times of struggle. Yes, life is not perfect and in those times it’s essential to know where to find refuge. The problem with our mentality is to rely on ourselves and our capabilities. However, why not trust the Creator of our universe, our hearts? If He was able to create everything we see (not to mention all galaxies, species and much more we haven’t discovered and not seen yet), do you really think He can not solve our problems? He is not the fortress which will collapse or fall apart in 700 years or so. No, here we have the Eternal all-powerful Creator Being that knows the depths of our hearts. The True Rock and my Fortress in times of need and in the times of prosperity! 😉
